From the Archives: A Trio of Haikus

salmon are threatened
there are multiple stressors
care should be taken

without predators
aquatic dynamics change
salmon are vital

human impacts grow
a world at risk requires help
we should be the change

Snuggie Poetry (or, This Counts As Creative Writing, Right?)

Ode to the Snuggie
With sleeves, you keep me cozy
Whilst power is out

Still able to reach
Laptop (the Netflix machine)
Living the high life

Massive sleeves recall
Gandalf’s robes or Dumbledore’s
I am a wizard

It has two pockets
Awkwardly placed but still soft
What is their purpose?
